a. The environment is the key to the types of items you will need in your survival kit. How much equipment you put in your kit depends on how you will carry the kit. A kit on your body will have to be much smaller than one carried in a vehicle.

b. Always layer your survival kit, keeping the most important items on your body.

c. In preparing your survival kit, select items that can be used for more than one purpose.

d. Your survival kit does not need to be elaborate. You only need functional items that will meet your needs and a case to hold them. The case might be a first aid case, and ammunition pouch, or another suitable case. This case should be:

(1) Water repellent or waterproof.
(2) Easy to carry or attach to your body.
(3) Suitable to accept various sized items.
(4) Durable.

The seattle police killed the man who killed the 4 police officers from Lakewood, WS. This man was willing to kill a cop which means he would be willing to kill any of us not just cops.

Its been along day here. My computer is giving me trouble. I need new harddrives. The main drive is amost filled and I only use the 2nd drive as a storage drive. Its not set up to used as anything else.

When I do my taxes what I get back will go towards a new computer. And maybe even a laptop. (Wishful dreams huh?).

The following was sent to my by a relative who lives in Lakewood, WA. This is a crime that should not go unpunished. I hope the perpetrator is caught and is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.



I live in Lakewood, WA. This morning, four of our community's finest were shot dead while having coffee in a small coffee shop. A guy just walks in and blows em all away. One female and three male police officers from our local police precincts.

No one else was targeted, no one else was hurt. Yet!

Is it a knee jerk reaction to want to arm myself against those who would harm me and mine? My wife Nancy, says I can't do it. She says I'm just on old fool who would probably end up shooting myself. And she's probably right.

If I had been there, I try to convince myself that I would have thrown myself at the perpetrator, with no thought of what might have happened to me. But I wasn't, and that decision did not have to be made.

I remember the 13 who just died at Ft Hood, and I wonder how that son-of-a-bitch got so many rounds off in that place. I remember the policeman in North Seattle who just got blown away in his cruiser just a week or so ago.

There are so many to remember, I can't keep up with it all. So where's it all going? Where is it taking us? What can we do?

I am praying, and I am waiting for some answers. Anybody got any ideas?



I see a time where the normal citizen will have hidden guns in their houses because of this sort of thing. I will even go so far as to say they will carry them in their cars in hidden compartments. The normal citizen is getting fed up and will start fighting back. I know this might make it harder for the police. I just hope that the normal citizen doesn't get carried away and shot the wrong persons. The cops have enough troubles with the criminals and don't need any problems from the normal citizen.

The shooting of the 4 cops is a terrible thing and should not be tolerated.

I'm irrated. There was this idiot in the news who killed 4 family members thrankigiving day. one was a 6 year old child. Why fo ficking idiots have to hurt a child. The adults are one thing, but leave the children alone.

Also. There were 4 cops that was killed in Washington state. When you kill cops like that that makes the other cops mean to everyone. There are many good cops and there are rotten ones. The rotten ones make the good one look bad. But, when you kill a cop it makes it hard on the rest of us. They are still their own little brotherhood after all.

So I love to egg people on when it comes to the end of the world. Right now its 2012. I don't think that it will end. Its the end of an age and the birth of a new age. But I have posted in 4 different web sites that I frequent survival tips and things about 2012 and the planet X, Nibriu, and the Hopi prophecies, etc. People are strange. They are so gulible. I use suvival books like the sas survial guide, the zombie survival guide, survival tips from online. The survival books and web sites do have very good idea for survival and I love them. I also don't think the world will end. It might under go some very serious changes but it will survival. Of course you never know! Huh? he he he just think about it sometime.

I'm a 65 year old Vietnam Vet who served with the Big Red One, 121st Signal Battalion.

I have 20 grandchildren. 15 who are mine and 5 who I accept as mine since my son has been married 4 times now. 3 grandchildren are no longer alive. 1 stillborn, 1 shook to death by ex daughter in laws boy friend, 1 died from suffocation at 3 months.

I'm retired collecting a small pension and social security. Still not enough money to go around.

I did better under bush. So far I haven't seen much under present addmisistration. He may pull it off. I still like McCain/Palin better. Clinton would have been a better president also.

Well not much at the moment so will see how this goes.
